Some engines also use a separate air turbine to drive individual accessories with high power consumption (such as afterburner fuel pump, etc.). The weight of accessories and transmission devices of modern gas turbine engine accounts for about 15% ~ 20% of the total weight of the engine, and the power consumed by accessory rotation can reach 150 ~ 370kW.
