The master cylinder, also known as brake master oil (gas), is mainly used to drive the transmission of brake fluid (or gas) to each brake wheel cylinder and push the piston.
The brake master cylinder belongs to a one-way acting piston hydraulic cylinder. Its function is to convert the mechanical energy input by the pedal mechanism into hydraulic energy. The brake master cylinder is divided into single chamber and double chamber types, which are used for single circuit and double circuit hydraulic braking systems respectively.
In order to improve the vehicle driving safety, according to the requirements of traffic regulations, the vehicle service braking system now adopts the dual circuit braking system, that is, the dual circuit hydraulic braking system composed of tandem dual cavity master cylinder (single cavity brake master cylinder has been eliminated).
At present, almost all of the dual circuit hydraulic braking systems are servo braking systems or power braking systems. However, in some micro or light vehicles, in order to make the structure simple, under the condition that the brake pedal force does not exceed the range of the driver’s physical strength, some models also use tandem dual chamber brake master cylinders to form a dual circuit human hydraulic braking system.

The brake master cylinder is the main matching part of the hydraulic brake. There is a groove for storing brake oil on it and a piston in the cylinder below. The piston receives the brake pedal in the cylinder and then acts through the push rod to transmit the brake oil pressure in the cylinder to each wheel cylinder. It is also an oil pressure brake device and a brake cylinder configured in each wheel.

Working principle: when the driver depresses the foot pedal, stretch the pull rod to make one end of the pull arm press down the balance spring to make the balance arm move down. First, close the exhaust valve and open the inlet valve. At this time, the compressed air from the air reservoir is filled into the brake air chamber through the inlet valve to push the air chamber diaphragm to rotate the brake cam, so as to realize wheel braking, so as to achieve the braking effect

Composition: the main matching part of the hydraulic brake master cylinder, which has a groove for storing brake oil above and a piston in the cylinder below.
Working principle: when the driver steps on the foot pedal, the force of the foot will make the piston in the brake master cylinder push the brake oil forward and generate pressure in the oil circuit. The pressure is transmitted to the brake cylinder piston of each wheel through the brake oil, and the piston of the brake cylinder pushes the brake pad outward to make the brake pad rub with the inner surface of the brake drum, and generate enough friction to reduce the speed of the wheel, so as to achieve the purpose of braking.
